Some wedding days come with a forecast. Robert and Nayeli's came with a surprise Maroon 5 concert!  A Narragansett, RI wedding at North Beach Clubhouse The couple booked North Beach Clubhouse in Narragansett, Rhode Island months in advance - drawn to that back deck overlooking the ocean and the easy, laid-back feel of a beach wedding. What they didn't know, until just two days before their wedding on August 23, 2026, was that a massive free concert was about to take over the beach right next door!  The surprise: a free Maroon 5 concert next door! Hedge fund manager Joseph Healey had organized the show to celebrate his 60th birthday, continuing a tradition of throwing milestone birthday concerts - and this year, Maroon 5 was playing a few hundred feet from where Robert and Nayeli were about to say "I do." The clubhouse sits directly next to a beach exit, which meant thousands of concertgoers would be filing right past their reception as the night wound down. Understandably, the couple's first reaction wasn't excitement. As Robert told TurnTo10 News, which covered the story: "We kind of went straight to worst case scenario. The wedding is going to be ruined, there's no parking." Nayeli felt the same nerves: "We were a little worried about it because we knew it was going to be cloudy and people are going to be around."  How the wedding day actually unfolded: Instead of getting ruined, their wedding got a plot twist nobody could have planned. Their DJ (who also happened to be Robert's best man) leaned into the chaos, encouraging the wave of departing concert fans to cheer for the newlyweds as they passed. What could have been a logistical headache turned into an impromptu crowd of well-wishers. Robert and Nayeli even slipped down to join the beach celebration themselves before the night was over. Looking back, Robert put it perfectly: "Thank you for adding to our experience and also not being invasive."   Why we love this real wedding story

 Some wedding days go exactly to plan. Maeve and Jay's did not — and it turned out to be one of the most beautiful days we've ever photographed. The couple got ready at the Beauport Hotel in Gloucester before an intimate, abbreviated Hindu ceremony at Cruiseport Gloucester. From there, guests boarded a harbor cruise for cocktail hour, taking in Gloucester Harbor before returning for a traditional American ceremony and a reception full of dancing, joy, and two families coming together.
And then there was the rain. It showed up right on schedule and never really left — but instead of working around it, we leaned into it. Some of our favorite portraits from the entire day came from those in-between moments on the hotel's terrace, with the ocean air and soft harbor light doing all the work. Rainy-day weddings have a way of feeling more intimate, more real, and honestly, more magical than a picture-perfect sunny day ever could.
Every part of Maeve and Jay's wedding reflected who they are together: thoughtful, joyful, and surrounded by people who clearly adore them. Blending two ceremony traditions in one day takes real coordination, and their vendor team made it look effortless.
